Deep Into A Riot 2:390:00/2:39
Bio
The genesis of Sweep The Leg (STL) began with a horrific injury more than 20 years ago. Luap drove a stranger (Mr. Jon) to the hospital when Mr. Jon's arm was dislocated in a bar brawl (about chicks, of course). With Mr. Jon screaming on the way to the hospital, expert guitarist Luap noticed that his vibrato-laden cries sounded alot like Robert Plant of Led Zeppelin. A long-term friendship and collaboration was borne. Mr. Jon lived behind Luap's couch while they created the template for many songs through the years. Time went by as they pursued fame and fortune along with a helping of poverty and side dish of divorce. They decided to fire one last shot into the ether to prove that heavy rock is very much alive. They went in search of a unicorn and ultimately bagged the mighty Maliq. Adding a drummer, they started covering songs and creating new music that STL themselves wanted to listen to. STL wears its influences on its sleeve: heavy 70's, 80's, and 90's rock. Zeppelin, Sabbath, GnR, AC/DC, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Pantera among others. But, they generally appreciate anything that's passionate and want to convey the same to their listeners. So sit back and enjoy the ride.

Members
Luap Naravla (Guitar)
Luap was born at a very early age. He enjoys playing the guitar out of tune to seek alternative tunings and notes that haven't been discovered.
Maliq Magruve (Bass)
Maliq enjoys playing notes that are low in frequency. He hopes these frequencies will strengthen the Earth's magnetic field.
Howell N. Jon (Vocals)
Mr. Jon studied non-traditional vocal techniques from mystics in the remote mountainous regions of Bhutan and Panama's Darien Gap. These were further refined by screaming epithets at enemy drivers in suburban traffic.
